1. Introduction

Welcome to Kore ("Platform", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kore platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Kore is operated by Kore Platform Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

2. Definitions

• "Client" means any user who books services through the Platform.
• "Professional" or "Pro" means any self-employed beauty or wellness professional offering services through the Platform.
• "Studio Owner" means any business or individual offering rental spaces through the Platform.
• "Booking" means a confirmed appointment for services between a Client and Professional.
• "Rental" means a confirmed studio rental agreement.

3. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Not be prohibited from using the Services under applicable law
• For Professionals: hold valid self-employment status in the UK and appropriate professional insurance
• For Studio Owners: have legal authority to rent the listed spaces

4. Account Registration

You must register for an account to access certain features. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Subscription Model

Kore operates on a subscription-only model. We do not charge commission on bookings or rentals. Professionals and Studio Owners pay a monthly or annual subscription fee to access the Platform's features.

• Subscription fees are billed in advance
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

6. Bookings and Payments

When a Client books a service:

• Payment is processed directly between the Client and Professional via our secure payment processor (Stripe)
• Kore facilitates but does not guarantee any booking
• Professionals set their own prices and availability
• Clients receive confirmation once payment is successful

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Please refer to our separate Cancellation and Refund Policy for detailed information on cancellations, refunds, and no-shows.

8. Professional Obligations

Professionals using the Platform agree to:

• Maintain valid professional liability insurance
• Comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations
• Hold appropriate qualifications for services offered
• Register as self-employed with HMRC and manage own tax affairs
• Provide services as described in their listings
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards

9. Platform Role and Liability

Kore acts solely as a marketplace connecting Clients with Professionals and Studio Owners. We do not:

• Employ Professionals or Studio Owners
• Guarantee the quality of services or spaces
• Assume liability for services performed or spaces rented
• Verify all Professional qualifications (though we encourage compliance)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform (including text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by Kore and protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

11. User Content

By posting content (reviews, images, descriptions) on the Platform, you grant Kore a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Services. You retain ownership of your content.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
• Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Circumvent the Platform to avoid fees
• Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without consent
• Interfere with the Platform's security or functionality

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

14. Dispute Resolution

We encourage users to resolve disputes directly. If you cannot resolve a dispute, you may submit it through our Platform dispute system. For unresolved matters, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
